Sindonews.com -a subsidiary of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) for low-cost flight service, PT Citilink Indonesia fully support an appeal back Indonesia's Government through the Directorate General (Ditjen) Nexus air with passengers to accommodate prospective ex Batavia Air Jakarta-Bengkulu purposes, Jakarta-Jakarta-Jambi, and Balikpapan.
"We hope through this mechanism that made the whole prospective of Citilink can accommodate passengers to travel, meet with relatives up to perform business activities at your destination in comfort, especially in the city of Jambi, Bengkulu, and Balikpapan," said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Citilink Indonesia, Arif Wibowo in his remarks in Jakarta, Monday (18/3/2013).
Arif explains, total passengers from all over the former route of the Batavia Air to be accommodated Citilink expected to reach 30 thousand. Until now, the former route of the Batavia Air is already served by Citilink, besides Jakarta-Bengkulu, Indonesia-Balikpapan and Jakarta-Jakarta route-Jambi is Batam, Surabaya, Jakarta-Ujungpandang-Jakarta, Indonesia-Lombok, and Bali.
"We are working hard to fulfill the commitment as an airline consumer choice of air transport grew rapidly in this country, especially for those who choose to use the low cost carrier (low-cost carriers) by conducting a thorough preparation for opening more new routes," he explained.
As evidence of its success in its commitment improve services to customers, Citilink has grabbed several awards among others by Indonesia Travel and Tourism Foundation for category Leading Low Cost Airline 2011/2012, Best Overall Marketing Campaign category at The Budgies and Travel Awards.
