Sindonews.com – the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) provides sanctions to 17 local governments kabupaten/kota because they produce a GRANT up to late limits set on March 20.
These sanctions include suspension of general allocation fund distribution (DAU) for about 25 percent of the DAU each month. DAU will return once they deposit disbursed a GRANT. Total DAU imprisoned is estimated at Rp185,75 billion.
"The imposition of sanctions for the delay in the submission of a GRANT intended to encourage local Government to set BUDGETS in a timely manner so that the implementation of regional development programmes can be implemented properly," said the head of the Bureau of communications and information service Kemenkeu, Yudi Pramadi in a press release, Thursday (21/3/2013).
In the Kemenkeu entry, 17 regions that are penalized is Aceh Jaya (Aceh province), Kab. Dairi (North Sumatra), Kepahiang (Bengkulu), Kab Blora and Holy (Central Java), Kab. Malang (East Java), Kab. Singkawang (West Kalimantan), Kab. Banggai Archipelago (Central Sulawesi).
Then The Kab. Jeneponto (South Sulawesi), Kab. Alor (NTT), Kab. Aru Islands (Moluccas), Kab. Tolikara (Papua), Kab. Boven Digoel (North Maluku), Kab. Mappi (Papua), Kab. Central Mamberamo (Papua), Kab. Peak (Papua), as well as the Kab. Linga (Kepuluan Riau).
